A large Egyptian Atef Crown Feather Element, 25th Dynasty Amulets An exceptional example representing theCast in bronze and preserved with a mottled green patina, this freestanding element represents a stylized component of the Atef crown, the headdress closely associated with Osiris. The form is articulated with a broad, gently curving upper section terminating in a rounded tip, rising from a flattened central shaft, representing a feather. At the lower right, a small attenuated uraeus, the rearing cobra emblem of royal and divine authority,
