You could sit back and enjoy the sorcery promotion without ever attacking, and you still get a small spell discount outside of combat
It looks like a great midrange commander to constantly tinker with
Heliod, the Radiant Dawn / Heliod, the Warped Eclipse Heliod, the Radiant Dawn isnt too impressive, so its nice that it wont cost you too much mana to transform it into Heliod, the Warped Eclipse
